Wastewater treatment, whether for single houses, commercial outlets or larger communities, is becoming an increasingly complex issue for local authorities and developers alike. The advent of the EU Water Framework Directive and the introduction of increasingly stringent EPA guidelines is leading to a requirement for more complex and reliable site-specific treatment solutions throughout the built environment.

For larger treatment plants, we have the capability to carry out wastewater characterisation studies, plant performance evaluations, process selection, outline process design, packaged plant selection, detailed treatment plant design, odour control studies/remediation, discharge licensing and construction supervision. These services can be applied to large municipal plants, private packaged plants, industrial plants and sludge treatment facilities.

For small communities and single houses, we are fully-equipped to conduct site suitability assessments for on-site treatment systems in accordance with the relevant EPA Manuals, as well as packaged plant selection and the design of appropriate treated effluent disposal systems. We are listed on the panels of approved site assessors for Cos. Clare and Limerick.
